Hi guys, as you may remember ,I have blown my steering power return hose while a go and drive the car about 35 miles to home. After that happened , we have changed the steering pump and return hose (from ECS) with brend new one. Everthing looked fine until yesterday. The whinning noise and the power loss starts again !!!! It's been just one months that we have changed the pump and the return hose. I am getting pissed off .. what should be the reason of this ? There are two things coming to my mind. Either, I am revving to 8500rpm and the pump/hose couldn't handle this rev. or there is a problem on the steering rack. What do you guys think ?

why are you revving to 8500rpm ?

my engine head is built to rev. 8500rpm to use the power band of the turbo so why not ?

No, I don't have a fluid leak, checked the lines and the fluid level was fine.

Hmm yeah i was gunna say a leak, i had this happen to me cause of the shitty resivoir.
Double check all your seals and the pump, maybe something shook loose or wasnt tightened down properly.
Good luck man.

You need underdrive pulley's..... Should have been one of your first mods for a high revving engine. Pump is probably toast

Thats what I am thinking too. I have the fluidampr pulley but it's the same dimension like stock one. I may think to increase the pumps pulley. The interesting thing is, there are a lot of people whom revving 8500 too without problems on audizine.
