Anybody have any invoice pricing on the new B7 yet, or know where to find it?

What's an invoice? That's why they put the price on the window!

Charlie,

I am going to asume that your are an "Audi consultant", judging by your info listed here. I am surprised you don't know what an invoice is. The price they put on the window, as you should well know, is the MONRONEY, or the MSRP of the product, NOT the invoice. What I am looking for is what the dealership paid for the vehicle, not what the Monroney says. Perhaps I should have said the "dealer invoice". I would much rather negotiate a fair price for the vehicle off the dealer invoice, working up from it.......not getting beat up by a dealer, trying to negotiate down from the MSRP.

So....once again, does anyone have any info on the dealer invoice pricing of the new B7 A4, or know where I might find it?

Charlie, spoken like a true sales person........ignorant to the obvious question.

Dealer Invoice price will be out in a little bit, but I'm sure someone has connections and can get it. If you can just wait a little longer dealer invoice price will be readlily availible to all, plus the car is brand new, expect to pay a premium........

hai393,

I couldn't agree with you more, with regards to your comment about Charlie's question.

I spoke with my local auto broker, and he told me they have all kinds of connections with the local Audi dealers. They have been working with them for many years. Anyway, he told me he didn't see any reason why they couldn't obtain the car I wanted for somewhere around $500.00 over dealer invoice. That is, they purchase the car at dealer invoice, then charge me the invoice price PLUS the $500.00. Sounds like a nice deal to me.

I was an auto broker ..and have lots of friends who are auto brokers..you will have a hard time getting this car for $500 over invoice...with no other fees to the broker. I have lots of connections too. This is a BRAND new model.. in relatively short supply ..there are no special lease deals going on...

Yes I know Frank...new manager on the block. As far as getting a B7 for invoice, I don't see it ever happening. The shortest deal we would take on a B6 A4 was $500 over and that was a rareity. These aren't Fords, we don't need to give them away.

PS: I know what an invoice is, I was merely poking fun.

Well, all I know is this......brand new model or not.......I will certainly not pay full MSRP for it. If that means getting my broker to find a great deal...........so be it. If that means waiting........that's fine too. I am in no great hurry. I've got plenty of time.

Knowing that the MSRP base price for the Avant is $30,450, what would you estimate for invoice (leaving out options for the moment)?

About $3,100 less...

When the 2002 came out I bought mine just several months after they came out and got a reasonable discount. What's the difference now?
