should be able to use parts from any b5 a4, i think its b6 they went to electric style door locks, ive used a couple circut boards from a 97 and one from a 00 in my 98

What about passat??? Is there anywhere i can just buy the propeller? Or something

pretty sure most of the passats used electric systems, i highly doubt you could buy individual parts, best bet is to find the part you need at a junk yard

that is most likely going to be your only option, check the classifieds, they wont go for cheap though, new they are around 500

You can use the older passat vac pumps with a little work.

I have a b5 96 with original central lock pump.I facelifted the car and got the new pump from a facelifted b5 including the remote (with close and open- like a vw key),however i connected the new pump and does not work with the key,i changed the door sensor and still the same.I noticed with the wiring there is 2 wires left from the new pump that i cannot connect anywhere (by color code). How i can i make the new pump to work.
