Hey everyone, i'm hoping that someone may be able to help me out here. I'm going to intstall a cone filter on my '97 1.8. I'm not going to get an aftermarket intake kit, just the cone and install it on the stock piping. I also have the means of creating a heat box to shield away all the heat under the hood. Anyway, my question is regarding the sensors and vac hoses attached to the stock airbox: What do I do with the sensors if I have to remove the airbox? Do I need to tap into new intake piping? Also, isnt there a vacuum hose in that area as well? If any of you could help me, that would be awesome. Thanks a lot guys!

there is nothing attached to the stock air box other then the ICM which you will need to move.
