Thanks to Dolphin_Vic for letting me check out the B7 today.
-The 2.0T is noticeable smaller than the 1.8T.
-The turbo and the exhaust manifold are one piece. It's quiet odd staring at it.
-When the engine is warming up, the 2.0T engine sounds like a diesel engine. (click-click-click-click-click-click-click...)
-Engine hood release is no longer in the middle of the second around ring.
-The three spoke steering wheel with the radio button functions are cool. There was one button that was there, but it didn't work. Not sure what it did, but it was on the right side of the steering wheel.
-Cup holders that work! (amazing!) Too bad you had to trade that feature for the cool James Bond style cigarette lighter.
-Color instrument cluster. [up] [up]
-The instrument cluster will also read up to 8,000 rpms (it actually has the #8 on it) and the km are gray instead of red.
-The 2.0T badge has a red T, but the wierd part is the way the Quattro bar is centered. I never noticed how perfect it looked on the 1.8T because the Quattro bar fit between the 1 and T. On the 2.0 it just looks odd because of the way its center. For those who debadge, this is a moot point, but it was just noticeably odd to me.
