Seems like a deal.
Ask about maintenance; receipts; Timing Belt and WaterPump; Ever been in an accident?

Got a link dude?
And like Cool said, check out the CarFax.
If the CarFax is clean and it sounds okay while you're driving it, I'd say it's a great deal.
If the report is dirty, which I'm imagining it will be, look further into and post on here.

T-belt, water pump. You need to know the mileage on those guys so you can plan the next replacement.

Valve cover gaskets, cam chain tensioner gaskets, cam plugs. AKA "all those oil seals at the top of the engine". These items cause pesky oil leaks at these kind of miles. Telltale sign is a burning oil smell when you shut the car off hot. If they haven't been done, you'll probably end up doing it. Not hugely hard, but will be expensive if you have to pay a mechanic to do it. Probably 4-6 hours of labor plus maybe $100 in parts. Some talk of control arms and tie rod ends that were replaced should come up, too. Ask him which warning lights have been on and what was done to fix them.

It is always a good idea to bring a mechanic with you to look the car over. Preferably someone who is familiar with Audi's.

That said, as long as it has been maintained: 5-speed + Clean + Good price = buy.
