It's not to invloved but pretty time consuming.

remove front bumper
Put lock carrier in service position.
Remove acc belt
Remove alt (may have to remove compressor to get the lines out of the way.
Replace

I did it on my 2001 and it took about 2-3 hours.

i was hoping there was a way to sneak it out without having to put it into service position lol

Service position is easy as hell but I know one of the tech's at my shop did it with out it. However for a beginner it'd take less time to put it in service position and do the job right then it would to attempt to make it work.

its a very easy job just takes time and the right tools, look on audidiy, audiforums for a diy for it
