Anyone know if the alphards will clear a porsche bbk?? theyres a set in the classifieds that im looking and wondering if theyll clear. The rims are 18x8 and 18x9 and i will prolly have to run spacers, but just seeing if any of you guys know. TIA!
I don't think you will clear.
I barely got a credit card between my Alcon caliper and the spoke of the Alphard wheel and the Porsche BBK is a lot bigger.

what if i was to run a 5mm or 8mm spacer?
I wanted to run a 235/45/18 tire and ran a 2mm spacer to clear the caliper and still not rub.
If you ran a 5-8mm spacer you would have to run an undersized tire and stretch it to clear the fender lip as the wheel would be near flush with a 5mm spacer and stick out past the fender with an 8mm spacer. If you did that then you would have to lower your car to take care of the wheel gap you would have.

i have no wheel gaps lol, i would run a 225 on the front with a 5mm. that work ya think?
Throwing numbers and situations will not answer your question as the every tire is a bit different.
You need to find the minimum size spacer to clear the brake caliper then find what tire will work. As I said earlier I had to custom make a 2mm spacer in order to run them on my setup.
If you are slammed like in your avatar I think you will have issues making it fit.
