Can anyone confirm if B6 steering wheel/airbag will fit B7?

I'm thinking no. I searched AZ but didn't see any direct answers. I checked ECS and they sell an RS4 steering wheel for B7, but not for B6. That's first indication that they're not compatible.

Then found this from another forum:
"The B7 has a dual stage airbag, but the B6 only has a single stage airbag - don't know about the B5. "

That also indicates it's not a simple drop-in replacement from B6 to B7. I'm looking for a 3-spoke sport steering wheel/airbag and an AZ'er is parting out a 2004 B6 S4. Was just wondering if I could take his steering wheel.

Well, what I want is the 3 spoke sport steering wheel that comes on Sline or S4. There's one on classifieds from a 2002 B6 S4. Just wondering if it would work.

I'm an idiot. Didn't search first. B6 steering wheel is completely different from B7. May fit, but not the same.

Thanks Quattro. It's hard being patient. I check the classifieds every day - so kinda jumped when I saw a part-out S4. I'll remember next time that it has to be B7.
