Headlight wire splicing is very straight forward, especially if the kit is all inclusive. I believe the most difficult part would be the separation of headlight lens from housing, which really isn't that bad either.

I think that when halos are done right, they look amazing on our cars. Look at the OEMplus car, that's badass. More power to you Joe.

I don't mind properly done halos as much as I do strip LEDs. I've never seen a set of strip LEDs on a B7 that looks good or looks like ti should be there. Leave the strips to the B8s.

^^ honestly when I bought them I expected them to be like Umnitza's Chromium CCFL eyes (4 halos, 2 ballasts, 1 on each side) but these Orion V2 LEDs came with 2 halos connected to 1 resistor. That got a little tricky but in the end it all worked out [up]

^^ oh they're bright alright haha. the original Orion angels eyes were 30 LEDs on each halo. The V2 version now has 60 on each [:D]

^^ pretty straight forward. Just mount the halos, attach halo to resistor, tap resistors into power feed of city lights (wedge). I also removed the city light bulbs so these come on with the headlights. Voilà.

hmm..i read somewhere that when you look at the Orion for Audi B7 it says that once the order is placed they actually send you the V2 version instead. let me check again

We would need a local car for it.
instructions are relatively generic in general, dropping bumpers is similar for 99% of all cars, just like baking headlights, mounting rings, etc.

the ONLY difference in cars is which wires to tap for power and ground but since there are really only 2 options (ground is usually black or brown on German cars) you won't have to guess too much on which wire for power.

As far as wiring goes - pretty much the easiest thing. Just figure which wires you want to tap and your golden. I chose city light. I believe brown was power.

i was a little skeptical because the first time i baked the headlights to CC was about a year ago and since i didn't re-seal them the way Phil (fly) does i didn't think i would ever have to open em again. But all went well and it's all sealed up tight and baking them was cake.
