Car not starting...battery issue at 24k!?

All started Sunday morning, woke up got in the auds, tried to start and nothing happened. It was clicking and thats it. no turning over. came back a couple hours later to jump it. thought the battery would recharge after a bit and ide be solid so i let her run for 15 minutes. turned off the ignition, tried again. nothing...

as of right now, all i hear is clicking.

car has 24k miles on it and the battery is pretty damn good. i just dont understand why its givin in so early?

i went in garage started bk up fine stopped at shop 5 mins later wouldnt start

I had the same problem recently with my 4 month old optima red top. brought it to autozone and they verified that it had a dead cell. brought the new one home and the car started right up.
