Does anyone have a preferred brand on the diff and trans fluids? I was told redline mtl and their gear oil are good stuff by an audi tech. I just wanted to see if there were any other brands people had success with.

Also, what is the capacity for the transmission and diffs? I've searched around but can't find it.

Some like red line, some like motul. Many people have success with both. I have had good success with red line so I use their fluids.

OEM is an option as well but expensive.

It's all about preferance. I use Amsoil GL-4 in my tranny mixed with Redline Shock Proof, and the rear diff filled with Amsoil heavy duty gear oil (gl-5). As for volume, just fill till it overflows. But I think the rear diff is 2 liters and the tranny is 3 liters. And don't pay a mechanic to do this. Do it yourself.

Oh good point, forgot Amsoil. That's pretty popular on here as well.
