I have this aluminum beltline that I just got as a core return. It is not in the best shape, but maybe someone would prefer it over their current wood beltline. It would be a great candidate for the DIY brushed aluminum mod (http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int21.shtml).

This would be a straight trade, no cash involved. I don't care if your wood trim is scratched up or dirty, it just can't be broken or have any pieces missing. You ship me your wood trim, when I get it and everything checks out, I ship you back this aluminum set.

Email me at matt@ocarbon.com if you're interested in trading.

Some pics of the aluminum set:

Few nicks on the surface:

Most glaring flaw, dent in the middle of the bridge of the main dash piece:

Yup, but it is just thin aluminum. Can probably be bent back into shape with minimal effort. I just don't have the time to mess around with it.

How easily can the stock trim be removed? I might be interested.

Not too complicated. The dash pieces take a bit of work, but the rest is easy.

Beltline Trim Removal and Installation Shortcut Method (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?315064-Beltline-Trim-Removal-and-Installation-Shortcut-Method)

After you check out this guide you'll see how the big dash piece probably got the dent.

I have a 98.5 so the dash is a little different. This will be interesting.

Lets see the back sides of those.
If my memory serves me correct the Woodgrain Trim pieces are made much nicer and have a metal backing/tabs where the ones your trying to trade don't.
Is that the reason your looking to trade?
It seems like it would be just as hard to cover either those or the woodgrain.

Maybe im wrong. If you had the ACTUAL Aluminum Trim pieces form the S4 it would be a fair trade and I would be up for it.

The backs are different. I prefer the wood sets because they are actually made of metal, where as the aluminum sets are plastic. So the wood sets hold up to the carbon fiber process much better, so that is what I prefer.

I get S4 aluminum from time to time, but I do not trade them straight up for wood.
