Ok so for the weekend of labor day I will be visiting the inlaws, and I need an out! Was wondering if there are going to be any local or semi-local events going on?

Cool! It usually starts around 9. I wish I could copy screenshots from Google Maps, it would make giving directions much easier. I'll look into that, lol. I usually go to a nearby McDonald's before hand to get the coffee part, and then head over to the meet. It's also much easier to meet people at the McDonald's, since the parking lot the car show is in is huge!

Talked to my buddy and he's down to come. Do you have anymore information on it? Is it a Audi meet or just a general Houston area group meet? Didn't see anything on NTAG.

It's in Houston, so chances are you won't hear about it on NTAG. It's held in an upscale shopping center called Uptown Park, by the Galleria. Starts around 9 and ends around 11, but cars start showing up before that, if they wanna reserve a decent spot. The Houston area Audi guys usually go get something to eat afterwards. The meet itself isn't restricted to one type of car maker, if there is one common theme, it's that they're all expensive! ;)

It's alot of fun! This month I saw an R33 Skyline GTR. First Skyline I have ever seen. As for directions, once you're on the West Loop you will want to exit Post Oak Blvd. Once you get off the Loop, take a left on Post Oak Blvd, that will take you west-bound, take the first right on Post Oak, it will be a street called Uptown Park Blvd. The meet will be on your right, it will be impossible to miss. If you want a parking spot, show up before nine. It's held infront of McCormick and Schmick's, so you can always look them up for directions.
But like I said, I always go to McDonald's beforehand, so if you wanna meet up there, lemme know.
