I couldn't be able to handle all the wires and adapters all over the place with an IPOD installed to your deck. I kinda liked that ash tray IPOD dock, however as I remember where dam expensive, not to mention it would of started to bother me to have my ash tray out all the time.....and I use it for change so then I have to make some thing else. I wasn't to sure about this set up, I was worried about it blocking dash displays, once mounted it's away from the dash so doesn't block the view, it turned out great and love it! It sits so perfect and quite accessible.

I like the idea also when it's gone/not in place it's not an eye sore. Next up is integrated USP ports and bluetooth Jawbone charge hub.

I like it, just need a black iPod to fit your interior.

I would prefer to see my DIS than my iPod.

If your referring to the dummie light boxes, you can see them all perfect for the seated position ......just the angle of the camera makes it appear they're covered....that actually was I was attempting to do as I wanted to be aware of: Low Gas, and anything else that may come on. It works as it's mounted ~4" off the display on the column and your eyes can see around it perfect.

Guess it depends how tall you are. :P

For instance, I can't see the what speed I'm going as the top of the steering wheel covers those important numbers on the tacho.

I made a dock for my Ice Link

This is the mount. It bolts to the 2 bolts on the right side that hold the radio cage. I need to do some minor shaving of the radio surround for a cleaner fit though.
