As the common problem my door moldings are shot, and I was wondering if anyone eliminated them for good? If so how did you do it and some pics would be coooool.

Thanks

I did search, but it never works in my favor. And i wanted to see something of nothing there, not even a substitute. Cause I think I might rip mine off and cut all the clips off fill the holes in somehow and paint

It's been discussed multiple times. Try using the Searching 101 thread to see how to properly search if it's not going in your favor.

But i'll be nice and inform you of your options.

1. S4 lower door molding w/ S4 skirts (these are plastic, and will not wear like the A4 rubber ones)
2. Cut the little pins off, paint with rust preventative paint, buy home depot black strip and place it on the doors (very cheap way to do this)
3. Cut the little pins off, fill the holes, repaint door, lower door molding delete.

those are your only options, minus buying a new set from ECS for $160.
