buying wheels for a TT question

Hi there,

I'm interested in buying a set of 18" alloy wheels for my TT. What is the bolt pattern and rim offset for a TT V6 2005? I don't have much experience with wheels and don't want to buy something that doesn't fit!

Also, in your opinion what are the best wheels? I heard BBS are great. How about OZ? Any other suggestions?

Go check the wheel/tire classifieds at vwvortex.com. Your bolt pattern is 5x100 just like VW's.

BBS are my favorites. RGR's, LM's, CH's, etc.

HRE, iForged, BBS, etc. Forged wheels are the strongest/lightest wheels, but will cost you.

I like te Oz racing superturismo like on the Audi R8, I have the ATS DTM comps on my TT. They look so good on the DTM TT-R from past seasons.

if your looking to spend top dollar dont get hres, heard nightmare stories on them about the reversed lip design and how water gets trapped in there and causes the car to vibrate due to the imbalance of the wheels, i didnt like bbs designs at first but itll grow on ya!!! haha
