Hey guys,
I noticed today when I was driving my accessory belt was whining.. I searched and I read that after rain it is common.. I have never heard this noise before. It is constant and it does NOT go up and down with my RPMS.
Car runs great BTW.

From what I have read I think its the tensioner. Can someone tell me where that is located. Much appreciated

Which tensioner?

Accessory belt tensioner is located just below the valve cover on the front of the motor.

My belt squealed right before the viscous fan bearing fell apart. The fan pulled forward and the belt came off. Lost power steering, water pump, and alternator as I was coming off the freeway.

Thanks guys. It started to warm up here again in san diego, all these overcast days with all the moisture in the air is what's causing it. I'm pretty sure, Because when its warm out it subsisdes and doesn't squeal
