hey ive been looking around to find the best price for all the necessary gaskets to replace my head gasket ( head gasket, ex/ intake manifold gasket, valve cover gasket, etc..)
so far the only place that i have found that sells them altogether is 034. and they want $265.
anyone know of a place that has them for cheaper?

mjmautohaus...its like $140 for EVERYTHING and $45 for the gasket itself.
You'll want new heat bolts or head studs as well though. MJM is selling the ARP studs for $119 right now because they have a major overstock. They added a zero onto one of their orders by accident. You'll never see a price that good again. If you don't know, ARP studs are reusable (never have to buy head bolts again) and are what you need for a built motor so they are a no-brainer. Regular head bolts are stretch bolts and therefore cannot be reused (read: re-torqued) again properly.

Good to know, thanks...
This is a good price, does it include the studs and head bolts?

Studs are in place of the head bolts. They are much stronger and reusable. Any built motor that was done correctly, will have studs. The ARP kit comes with studs and nuts.

if you were referring to the MJM head gasket hit, then no...it doesn't include the head studs. Just all the gaskets you might want/need when doing a head gasket.

I should have mentioned...you have to call them. The offer is only listed on vwvortex. So when you call, tell them you are calling about the offer on vortex for the head studs. I just called and ordered mine last night and asked about the head gasket and such.

We appreciate the order and thank you for you business!
Like someone else already eluded to in this thread, the early S4 head stud kits we have on blow-out right now won't be on our site - you'll have to PM us for the special deal!

It would be kinda cool if you guys listed SOME of the parts you have for the 5-cyl cars on your site FYI.
I'd be more inclined to buy from you. Your prices are great, but I can't browse them online so usually I just go somewhere else. Just suggesting ;)
