Finished up day 1 on the TT transformation. Today ran a baseline G-Tech pull, cleaned the MAF and intake temp sensors, smoothed the stock air box, removed the snorkel and enlarged the opening to the air box, installed a Bailey diverter valve, and installed an Autometer sport comp boost gauge. The silicon on the ModShack vent mount is still curing, so no pics of that yet.

Coming up thursday is installation of a dual adjustment manual boost controller, timing adjustment, and a final G-Tech pull. [:D]

On the G-Tech I entered 3500 pounds for weight, which I later realized was very low. Actual power should be higher, just use the two numbers for comparative purposes.

We seem to be doing the same mods around the same time (my TTDA, Boost Machine, BAMM, Vent Adapter, GadgeTT V3 was shipped out today) I received my Samco Intake Hose today.... I already have a forge dv, APR 93 chip and a DG SS.. so we should be comparable in the hp range! I am looking forward to seeing your results and hope mine mirror it!

Turns out that TTs have the same 1.0 bar stock ECU boost ceiling that MK4s do, damn them. I didn't feel like messing with diodes on a nice car, so looks like the TT will be seeing a chip in the near future. Finished up the gauge install, turned out quite nice if I do say so myself.

Had GIAC 91 octane and stock programs installed at the show and go. The car is starting to move a little nicer now. I'll try to g-tech it in the next week or so.
