Yeah, that is a 12v Audi V6, not to be mistaken for the 12v VR6.

Bentley is what you want, unless you can find an even more technical guide. I love the Bentley for how detailed it is ,but it lacks anything important, like rebuilding a motor, specs on bearings, tq specs on anything in the rotating assembly, etc.

my b5 bentley manual has 12v, 30v, 1.8t technical stuff.. and the electrical section is amazing, and it even has 2.7t electrical in it.

I agree Bentley is very good. This is free, but it won't take you very far.

The 12v should be in there. If you look in the engine sections, there are parts for the 30v and for the 12v.

An audi 90 manual would also work because they had the 12v too.

Yes. In fact, though they are very similar, that engine is from a 90, not an A4; the A4 had black plastic valve cover covers, where the 90 has those metal-looking ones. There are a few differences in the intakes, etc., but I'm guessing that's all custom anyway on this car.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I had a 93 90 and it had those same silver colored valve covers. Still the same engine though, with minor modifications.
