2X Toyota Matrix in bad condition.. an example of Canadian weather

It's been a while I haven't take the time to take proper before pics of cars. Lately I worked on a neighbors car, a blue Toyota Matrix and the condition was awful. Swirls from bad washing techniques, to the point you didn't even see scratches from the snow brush. Car was never waxed or polished since they got it.

The black Matrix was in better shape, and faster to work with with the same amazing results. Both went through an intensive polish to acquire the best wetness and remove 95% of paint imperfections at most.






Sunlight, the best source to spot imperfections, halogen lights don't spot all problems.

Polishing of the taillights and headlights helped a lot.

LOL. This is what my winter beater Pontiac vibe looks like. I polished it up to a solid finish once, but I just can't be bothered with a car that only functions as an appliance between good cars. Your results are pretty solid though so good job.

I just don't know if I could spend the kind of time or money a detail like this takes on a matrix/vibe again.

to be honest I'm not a big fan of Toyota's paint. However these clients I got the blue matrix is a woman who sees me every day working on cars so she wanted her car looking like that. The owner of the black matrix actually loves his car like someone loves his Porsche. They both paid the price.. so either a Porsche or a Matrix they both get the same love. :)
