I need info, tips and any help one can give. Products, tips, methods or if you or anyone you know does this for a living please post or pm me some help. I am decent at detailing and a very good outside sales man. I know I can market and get the business I just need help on starting this. Thanks guys, your info has helped me in the past, hopefully it can help me now.

you may want to start with giving us some info on what you already know how to do (ie wash, wax, polish) so that we can give you some advice. also try "detaling bliss forums" in google and there is a wealth of info over there.. hope it helps

Thanks man. I guess just basic wash, hand wax, light buffing. I can steam and wetvac and I am very good with small details. Other than that Im fresh and needing pointers.

Obviously you will need a car, preferably a short bed truck that can hold a water tank. Use a pressure washer to minimize the use of water and the water in the tank should be as soft as possible. You could use a smaller spotless system, but it will minimize your profit from every job as it is fairly expensive once you have to refill the resin.

And you will need about $2000 in machinery, supplies etc.

Check out detailing bliss. This is not the first time for someone to ask that exact question.
