Well, I friend of mine got some stuff for his A4 AEB (1996, Japan)
Stuff includes:
Audi TT225 Injectors
Audi TT225 MAF
Audi TT225 Turbo (K04-20)

Trying to get all of that on tha car (manual transmission), but...
He has 8D0 907 557 ECU in the car. It's and old one, not even with T at the end. And we stuck with programming it.. We cant find somebody who can chip that 8D0 907 557, nor can we find any transformation DIY (for instance - installing 8D0 907 557T instead of 8D0 907 557, or 558E..)
Was searching forum - no luck. Seems that nobody in USA has 8D0 907 557 ECU on their A4-s.

Any help appreciated..

The US ecu's ARE 8D0 907 557 P, 8D0 907 557 M, those are the only two I know of as I've used both on my AEB. As for a 8D0 907 557 T, I have never heard of.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know by any chance if 8D0 907 557 is interchangable with anything that can handle K04-20?

The k04-20 will not bolt on to an AEB.

Well, we are not looking for a bolt on solution.. The turbo itself will be fitted somehow. The most of our problem = proper software.

557t ecus have a different socket for the chips, they were used up until 1999 in the eu pacific and asia. The ecu which is older than the 557 from my understanding was adapted from the 80 or 90, it is quite a different shape and size. I dont know of any tunning that will go onto them. and even if there was then there will be no tuning for the -20 because no one ever puts them on. I think you might be underestimating the amount of work required to make a transverse k04 fit on a longitudinal engine.

yes, it is 1996..

K04 with manifolds and etc are properly reconfigured. Now we need the engine management, some motronic which is possible to install on an old AEB (we can change MAF, sensors, ignition coils, install MAP and etc). But we need some useful advice on how to do it. Dunno if it's ever been done.

Any suggestions? Which ECU would be a better choice? What about 8D0 907 557 P?
DONT DO THAT CRAP <- that would be an acceptable advice too.
