places to get an inspection

Ill be heading to CA at the end of july/beginning of august to pick up a b5 s4, just lookin for the best spot to take the car for an inspection. id prefer to take it to a shop that knows what they are doing, as i will be driving the car back to Alaska after the inspection. will be prolly somewhere between sacramento and san diego.
