Well my clutch dropped dead last month, and a couple days ago I finally got the car back, feeling better than the day I got it.

It took a couple weeks to get back because nobody produced a clutch upgrade for the 3.2 FSI yet. Luckily, Raven Motorsports in Long Beach, CA has a close working relationship with Clutch Masters. At this point I only had one option, have Clutch Masters R&D with my stock parts.

Apparently, I now have the first B7 3.2 FSI with an upgraded clutch. I opted for Clutch Masters FX300 (Stage III) and could not be more pleased. I must add, that I kept my stock flywheel, as CM would have needed more time to produce, but I had to have the car back (I mean, it is my only running car).

Almost overnight, I have put a good 300 miles on it ~ a very satisfying 300 miles. I can still roll off first with no gas, which was the first thing I checked, and from there things kept getting better. Clutch engagement (height) is very close to OEM. It didn't take more than a minute to "learn" driving with the new setup. The pedal feedback feels lighter than stock too, which I like. The clutch bite feels right on and solid now; in a way it feels like the car pulls away more efficiently.

got a little discount, but FX300 kit's MSRP is $830 without a flywheel. It isn't out yet but I think it should be available soon. Might be able to order one through Raven.

I was wondering if this clutch is still available? I have been searching every where for a new clutch and I cant find one, audi wants a little over $4600 for parts and labor which i think is outrageous. Any clues to wear to get one if clutch masters no longer makes them?
