I found this in my plastic belly pan/skid plate the other day, and I am wondering where it came from.
It is hard plastic, obviously screws in somewhere, the top looks almost like it could be a mount for something..
and there is a metal hex screw on the inside. Anyone have any idea what it is/ where is belongs?
Thanks.
(sorry for bad quality pics)

I showed it to my friend who is a mechanic and thats what he said.
I guess I'll search how to replace the hood spacer. Where exactly is
the hood spacer supposed to be located?

The top is wrong for a hood spacer. Ours have a flat top, and no hex or anything of the sort.

Is the side smooth or corrugated?

If it was corrugated I was gonna say maybe part of this guy:

Only other thing I could find was maybe this, it's grey. lol:

edit* ^ That one's torque, not hex. My bad.
I think you're gonna have to start looking underneath.

Damn, finding where this thing belongs should be fun!
Thanks for the help anyway.

Is there a bit of a gap between the top piece and the wider piece? It looks like the bumper height adjuster to me. The bumper slots into the gap between the top and the widest piece. They go behind the bumper, located either side of the grille, you might be able to see if you shine a flashlight down from the top if one is missing.

X3 on the bumper height adjuster. You'll need to remove your bumper to replace it.

Make sure both of The adjuster are the same height, or it will be un-even...

This is just another reason to remove your belly pan!!!
If you didn't have one, you wouldn't be worrying right now...

Lol, thanks guys! I remember seeing that now. Atleast it's an easy fix!
I'd be scared to drive without a belly pan bblume, but have considered
getting that metal belly pan that fits b6s and b7s but it look like it doesn't
protect as far back as the stock one.
