View Full Version : Seeming as "my mod thread" all but dissapeared. Mod nine (Votex side skirts)
Put these on a week or so ago ( Big ups to Sal for help with the install and Phil for some useful tips). It was going to be my next update, but..^..^.. I put in a few different angles to show what these things really look like, as I was having a hard time telling the difference..not anymore.

Love it man. I could really tell the difference with those angles, you were right about that. I'm definitely interested in where/how much you got these for if you dont mind. They definitely flow well with the votex chins (which I finally got on myself :)) and thanks for your advice on those, you were right about the fitment, I used my body shop to paint/fit them. [up]
Thanks. Not sure if others will agree, but i don't give a shit... ordered them from ECS, it was like 180-200 I believe (shipping is pricey but overall not a bad deal). Not many dealers have them anymore and if they are still in stock I would jump on them. Congrats on the spoilers, post a pic when you get a minute. Yes the skirts even out the spoilers. Im still in the process of making a splitter for the spoilers (probably brushed aluminum), but time must permit first.

Looks fucking hot! Are those Hartmann S5 reps? I really wanted them for a long time, but couldn't justify the cost, plus the cost of powdercoating them the color I wanted. They look badass black.
Jim indeed they are....powder coated semi gloss black nonetheless. I still want your Labbit, but I guess Ill have to deal with a gloomy bear for now.

Those look nice and a pretty good deal on them right now. How much does it cost to paint them, and where in SD did you get them painted?

Those look really good. I like. [up]
Price of paint can be anywhere from 250-500 from the quotes I was given. Personally I went to BumperDoc, but I had a hook up.

Nice side skirt man! What's your suspension set up you got? Because I kind of like your front is sitting lower then your rear.

I liike!! You planning on getting coils ever to get more adjustability in the drop? (If i remember correctly you are just on srpings, yes?)
DTM conversion. Front bumper this weekend, already have the side skirts on....rear bumper eventually. Using Phils Fog to DTM font bumper conversion as well. I went through too much trouble to get my fogs and city/fog light mod right to waste them. Yes Ryan I will get coils soon. In order for my next mods
1. DTM front bumper
2. Fog light conversion
3. CO's
4. HFC-STG2
5. AWE FMIC
6. DTM rear bumper
7. who knows?...maybe some additional body parts/brake parts/interior mods/engine bay
Yes I know I could do it a little more sequentually, but I like to go back and forth on the car and do one mod at a time.

I think that looks really good. Funny because I just popped on to try to find pics of the skirts on a non s-line black car and here it is. Pretty much sold me on it.

That sounds like an excellent plan for mods. Good choice on the DTM before the CO's. Your car is at a good height already, so I see where adding the looks of the DTM can fall in place before another drop.
Can't wait to see the results. [up]
Hopefully everything works out right.
