Reminders
- Register: We're asking that ALL attendees register (even if you're not planning to "show" your car or you're a passenger). It's not only the only firm count we get to base an attendance estimation on AND will it allow you to participate/vote for the People's Choice Show & Shine, but it's the only way you'll get all of the important information (especially the .pdf information packet)!! Get over to Wuste.com/Register (Click Here (www.wuste.com/register) and register! You'll be "General Registration" unless you have a fully-built show car (register for King of the Desert) or a car on air ride (register for Double Down). PRINT AND BRING YOUR REGISTRATION "RECEIPT" THAT IS EMAILED TO YOU to make your check-in very very quick.
- PDF Info Packet: Early next week (shooting for Monday), we'll be emailing the pdf information packet to ALL registered Wuste2010 attendees. PRINT IT! We're working to make sure it's both "smart phone" and printer-friendly and will have all of the important information you'll need like schedules, cruise route, contact information, sponsor list, etc. These will not be available at the event so to make sure you're not "that guy" asking everyone what/when/where and simply print the PDF and bring it with you!
- Rules / Etiquette: Here's the scoop... We're expecting the attendance to just about DOUBLE from last year. That means for every person that's been around before, there is one that hasn't. That means that we're really counting on the veterans to be the "torch-bearers" and instill the sense of friendliness, good-times, and respect... not only respect towards each other (and each others property), but towards our surroundings. Last year, we booked just about 120 rooms at our host hotel, Palace Station. This year, we booked just about 300! So as you can imagine, Palace Station LOVES us being there... but that can quickly change if incidents start happening. To those that haven't been before, please understand that Palace Station is so happy to see us because of our stellar track record of taking good care of our home for the weekend!
Do not trash your rooms. Do not do burnouts. Do not cause non-Wuste'ers to complain about the party in your room. Do not harass the security/employees.
Do respect hotel/fellow attendee property. Do follow the rules of the hotel/event. Do buy an event shirt ;) Do have a weekend that you'll be reliving until next year!
- Event Shirt:
Event shirts are $15. The event is free. Help support the event by not only buying the shirt, but by wearing it with pride! The ONLY chance to buy one of these shirts is at the event so it's like a collectors item... or something like that!
