Recently my car started to stall when coming to a stop and turning. It never happens when I'm coming to a stop sign or a stop light. Only when there is a turning motion. It'll just die, no rough idle, no sputter, just dead. I feel the power steering die and hit the breaks. She'll start right back up and there's no problem if I back up and try to park again. I'm leaning towards a fuel delivery problem being the culprit. Possibly a fuel filter? Or the fuel pump?

98 v6 quattro, two day old ignition switch.

Thoughs guys?

We're all baffled. Is it throwing any codes?

Maybe your power steering pump is going out hence creating too much resistance for the engine while you turn the wheel.

It could be a fuel issue, but out of curiosity, how's your battery? I had a similar thing happen to me. Before going crazy under the hood I checked the battery to find it was barely making 12 volts. I put a spare in and the problem was rectified. Might also be the alternator. I'm still new to these cars so take that with a grain of salt!
