You should have the sensors. But knowing what shape the plugs are is the problem. You won't know until you look.

They come right off the pad. What is the point of knowing the shape? 2001's have them. The funny thing is they are a rounded square shape plug.

They are over all square, and the site are rounded.

Brake sensors are rounded rectangles. They have 3 flat sides, and a rounded side.
Visit our website for all your brake needs, we carry Motul RBF600, DOT5.1, and several pad options as well.

So these sensors tell you when you need new pads?

Not always.
The sensor is only on the inside front pads. If you have unusual brake wear, it's entirely possible that the outside brake pad wear faster. If that's the case, then you won't trip a brake sensor until it's too late.

Also, the rear pads have no sensors, so again, you'll have to inspect those. It's always best to inspect your brake pads regularly, even if you have sensors.

I was going to say mine don't work but I wore through the outside pad first as my caliper had seized.
