debating on getting a b6 S4 6mt

Hey all, contemplating on getting an 04 S4 in grey with 6 speed. I have an 01 S4 6 speed and like the car... but wanted something a bit newer with less rattles. My question is, if you got one for $13k with 89k on it, is that too much? I'm looking around and seems like the going price is 15-19k depending on the mileage.

B6 S4 for only 13k?? I'll take and its a steal IMO. I look around in my area and cheapest I can see is around $20k and up with higher mileage.

its not a salvage, but it has 89k on the clock... I have about 130k on my 01 S4 and its running strong still. Are these 4.2's pretty stout? I have seen a couple blown engines but I never see what was the cause. I test drove this car and I'm liking it, pulls great, handles well and brakes are a lot better than my 01. I think I may just pull the trigger :)

Thats a REALLY good deal if car's background is solid and even if it comes with only minor problems

04 with that many miles and that cheap probably has some hidden issues, i.e. timing chains, guides. engine has to be pulled to replace. also high oil consumption is likely. make sure to do a leakdown/compression check prior to purchase.

is that too much?..nooo thats a great deal..one of the best prices ive ever heard of..especially when the miless are under 100k..but you always wanna kno why such a low price so look into it..but still thats pretty tempting either way hahaa.
