Well, i decided to sell it and get a more appropriate daily driver. The car is in great shape and will be excellent for the buyer. It has a small scratch in the passenger side front panel and a rim with some rash, both of which i'll have fixed before the buyer takes the car - local place can get it done for $500. I owe $50k, but I am asking $47k. Sticker new was $74k.

Send me a private message if interested since I'll be traveling the next couple of days.

Thanks.

The dealers are asking quite a bit once they have them, but the reality is trade in values in the low $40's, the advantage is no sales tax due versus an early buy out in my case.

So in other words you don't want to say how much it sold for. I really don't get why not but that's your choice.

so you traded it in? if u dont want to post u could send me a pm. 47k seemed a little high for 45k miles. however seems like prices in cali are a good amout higher than out of state. just wanted to see what you got for your car. i've been looking and might fly out of state and drive one back.

No problem with the price, I wrote the answer and didn't realize I skipped that. They offered $42k so I took it back to them (EG Audi). Neillo offered $38k, but that was because they also had two others on their lot. The trade in versus selling it also avoided sales tax to the leasing company for the early turn in.

The car was really perfect in my eyes, but my use was the problem - 25k miles per year.

The buy-out on the lease, before taxes was $45k, so you add a few thousand more in there for the taxes.
