For the life of me I cannot find the 75x terminal I keep reading about to hook up my boost gauge. I've searched and searched and cannot find any pictures of a B7's 75x. Please help!

There is no such creature in a b7, only b5/6 you would have to run it to the fusebox in your car.

Ah OK. Thank you for the clarification Mike. Anyone hook it up using an alternate ignition source? The fuse box method will require a fuse tap, any recommendations?

I currently have it hooked up to my light switch but this requires me to turn my lights on in order for my gauge to turn on. I want it so when I turn my car on, the gauge comes on, and when I turn my lights on my gauge light turns on.

I'm not too savvy with electrical and I don't want to mess anything up. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

can you not see the gauge in the day time?

I can see it, but I don't want to have to turn my headlights on in order for my boost gauge to work. I need somewhere to tap in, so when I turn my ignition on, the gauge turns on.

you dont really need a fuse tap per se, you can just splice the end of one wire and take out the fuse and wrap around the end of fuse. that is what I did before I found out what fuse taps are lol
