I really like the Avants and there's an Avant up at Circle Audi (http://www.circleaudi.com/inventory/details.php/VIN_WAUKF78E47A186420/ID_circleaudi/UI_detail_new2). [:D]
Mileage is pretty low, and it's Quattro. The ad says 28k on the clock. I'm going to go take a look at it if they confirm on the phone they still have it.
What do you think of their "internet price"? KBB says $31k for same mileage and options, so the price looks fair. [confused]
(I originally posted this in the B5 forum by mistake, they suggested I move it here. Someone there suggested about $25k?

Certified avants usually carry a bit more of a premium. The dealers move them pretty quick. I would just go in there and shoot them an offer of like 26-27 and see what they say.

I concur - pd $28k almost a yr ago for my CPO'd '07 A4 Avant 2.0T w/ Ti pkg w/ 39k miles in I-white. You pay now for an '07 what I pd last year and I'll feel even better about my deal.

I agree with the rest here. Also, all Avants came with quattro.

Any dealers' lowest advertised price is still several thousand more than they can sell it for.
KBB CPO retail (inflated) may be $31k, so they're advertising $29k as a 'deal', but in reality the trade in value is ~$22k.
I think $25-26k is fair market value and a perfectly reasonable offer. The dealer is still making money.

My boss is interested in selling his 2007 B7 Avant 2.0T. 36k miles, Quartz Gray over Black leather, 6-speed manual, quattro, non-S-Line, Stasis exhaust, 034 HFC, Stasis chip, Sirius sat radio, filler plate, all-weather mats and trunk liner, and tint all around. If you're interested, shoot me an email. It's very clean and well maintained. He's just getting bored and wants a B8 S4. All the maintenance is recorded on our blog, Audiction (http://www.audiction.com/), and we'll throw in all the supplies needed for the 40k mile service. He's looking for $26,999.

I've seen Daniil's car, and it is indeed super-clean and well-maintained.
