When I get a pm and the little box pops up, I hit "ok" to read then the other box pops up and I hit "cancel" to read it in the current window (like I always have done for 5 years now). Instead of it directing me to the pm it keeps going to a screen saying "message" and then stating this after "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" so I then have to go up to the little messages link at top left and actually go in to my pm section that way and then click on the new pm.
Oh, and just to let you know, the search function for a username is now working with my IE8 where before I would start typing a name and it wouldn't pop up a list of names to choose from with similar letters to what I have typed. So that is good now, I also haven't been seeing the missing text issue but the past few days I have had this PM issue.
