door chime

hi everyone,

i have an 05 A8.
when you open the driver door with the car running
the door chime slowly turns into a completely annoying
sound. what's the scoop....am i missing something?

Read one of my old posts from late last year in this forum. I put the instructions in for fixing both the door chime and the seat belt chime.

the sound goes from a chiming to a continuous annoying
sound. i don't there is anything wrong with the it...but
it is annoying[down]

also i did a search an i am not having much success[confused]

NP, if you have any questions after reading it let
me or Atlas know.

Also, you will need a Vag-Com interface and it must support CAN (the cheap $30 eBay ones don't). I got mine from www.ross-tech.com

i just read about that same tool on the vortex forums.
do you think that the dealer that sold me the car
would do this change
for me?
my luck i would screw up the entire car!
