seems kind of pointless for our cars... theyre not fast enough for that kind of exhaust, you'll draw unnecessary attention from the cops and i hope you wont mind the drone on highway cruises. but its your car... whatever floats your boat

I have APR with TP and I have pretty bad drone as it is. I don't even want to know how loud your setup will be.

You guys are a bunch of wusses. Drone isn't that bad! You will have a certain amount of drone with any aftermarket exhaust. If you don't want the sound don't replace the mufflers! Try an unresonated, Decatted, full 3" turboback exhaust with a tubular exhaust header. Thats loud...and drones. Didn't bother me one bit ;-). Didn't want to make me new daughter deaf though!

i love drone....

i am doing 3" piping with a magnaflow muffler as well, but trying to find cheap/nice 3.5" straight cut exhaust tips...4" just look a bit overkill i think

agree, audi owners complain so much about exhausts that are considered "quiet" to the rest of the modifying scene... to the person claiming APR exhaust is loud... beside milltek its one of the quietest exhausts out there....

APR isn't loud. That mixed with a TP is what causes enough drone for me. Anybodys ears will get used to the drone.
Im around my buddys STI full 3" exhaust and buddies diesel f-350. I know what loud is, lol.

But when your Audi is a DD and carries clients to lunch occasionally, drone is not your friend.


I think our cars shouldnt be meant to have loud exhausts. A nice clean sound, but anything over-powereing is overkill IMO. But to each its own. =)
