yo

Just got my car flashed today with APR stage 1. Drove home 45 minutes very pleased with my new purchase.

I got home made some dinner then went for another cruise only to notice my CEL was on....

Im gonna go to autozone tomorrow get the code pulled but in the mean time do you guys have any ideas?

might have torn your diverter valve, do you feel a loss in boost pressure?

Shouldn't be anything serious, possibly a misfire from a dying coil pack or old plugs. Possibly a PCV valve or diverter leaking. I've yet to see APR programming cause a CEL on a car that has not been hardware related.

I plan on going to get my coil packs chenged soon with my recall.
And i geuss ill be replacing my DV sooner than i thought.

How much does a PCV valve cost? and how hard is it to install?

The PCV, breather hose and gasket will run under $175. The replacement is extremely easy, just make sure you get the one to match your vin.

I would also consider a BSH pcv fix instead of the oem one.

Could be: PCV, DV, Coilpacks, spark plug gap, or intake flap motor, is your car stuttering or anything weird happening?

A little update on why my CEL is on.

If you DV hasnt been upgraded that would be my bet. Mine went within a few days of going 93 octane chip.....Had the same guys just order in the new part and replace it.

Nice thank you. just ordered a new DV.

Is it ok to drive with a torn DV?

Yep, did my 93 tune last week, CEL was on within 20 minutes. Code seems to be diverter valve related. I can clear the code and its fine until I really get on the boost, then the light comes back on. I'm gonna change my plugs and install a Forge for good measure.
