How many has experienced shaking of the steering wheel after placing spacers on their B7s?? Can this be fixed?

The custom shop I am at right now keeps telling me that after I install spacers on my B7 that my steering wheel will start to shake at a certain speed(like 50+mph)... True or False??

They shouldn't if they are good ones (hubcentric) and installed properly.

+1, make sure the spacers are hubcentric and have a chamfer that matches your wheels

And the lugs are tight! ;-)

id suggest torquing the lugs down. Or you may be in for a surprise going down the road.

Wow, really? If that is what they said, I wouldn't go back to this shop. Do they know how to install proper hubcentric spacers?
