car took three tries to start in the morning still havent changed the timing belt....do u think it needs to be done i have about 90 k on it right now

it could be a lot of things from your battery to your fuel pump. what are the specifics? any abnormal sounds? your best approach is to diagnose your battery first and then look further...

Not sure if it is the timing belt, but at 90k I would do it very soon.

You need to change your timing belt fairly soon (http://www.europaparts.com/timing-belt-kit-a4-b7-2-0t.html)
And you might be having issues with the battery in regards to the starting issue. Or clogged fuel injectors/fuel filter.
