Australian guy new to LA....

Hey All,

Im taking an extended holiday in the states and am currently living in Santa Monica... Only been here two weeks, first one was crazy due to Coachella!.... wow!

Anyways just wondering if there is much coming up regarding GTG's, drive days, track days etc...??

I dont have a car here yet, just using my mates jeep every now and again and hiring a car when needed....

Anyways if love if you guys can give me some pointers on some must do's while here in Cali....?

Id love to tag along to a drive day if someone wouldnt mind a passenger in their Audi....?

Sleeping on the loungeroom floor of my mates apartment... got a mad queen size blow up mattress so living like a king haha... BUT its free and its like a home base so thats all that really matters!

for me - i like to eat - there's a ton of interesting places to eat. J-town, K-town, China town, LA, Orange county, San Diego - google search yelp you will find some great places.

Laker game, baseball game

i forgot what part of Australia (Sydney?) our beaches aren't quite as nice, but it's always a nice sight.

go see a concert - Greek Theatre or one of the open air venues are nice during the summer.

Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Knotts.

That should be a good start - i will let my Socal Peeps join in!

Yosemite can't be missed. Make your friend take you, and either go early in the season to beat the crowds and see some waterfalls, or go late in the season to beat the crowd and the mozzies.
