I'm addicted to this community! As far as I can see, pretty much everyone is supportive of one another and you help each other out. The B7 A4 is the real reason I'm here though. It looks magnificient. I see no reason to look at the b8 as it has the same performance specs as the B7, just maybe a little more sharp with the exterior. You see, I'm almost 17 and I've been trying to decide what my first car is going to be.
I have looked at pretty much everything. Volvo's, BMW's, Audi's... (used by the way), and this by far is the coolest car I have found for it's great performance, including mpg and safety. Basically the point to this thread was to express my feeling about this great community, and possilby get some advice on buying a used B7 A4.
By the way, I'm Fitztacular. Hello. [cool]

Lol but seriously, we are pretty damn cool here. And the b8's are actually faster and handle better and look better (imo) than the b7's... lol

I don't know too much about that. Before you get flamed, try searching.

Go check out Champion in Coral Springs. Talk to Mark Chue (the pre-owned manager). Tell him Nick Caporella sent you over. He'll take care of your needs.
I bought my car pre-owned from there as well

Wow that was an enthusiastic post. B7 A4s are sharp, but I'd reserve 'magnificent' for such cars as the Ferrari 250 GTO

For the price range, I think they look great. Of course there are better looking cars.. like the R8. haha

Sup, welcome.
A few tips: Look for an S-Line package and/or Titanium package...they're rarer and more desirable. CPO warranty is kind of overrated (in my opinion), especially if you can DIY. Find something with a manual, bonus points if you buy an avant. You might also want to check out the classifieds on here...there may be some good options from a fellow member. And search for answers before you post questions...also take a read-through of the wiki/FAQ section. I think that's all I have...

Thank you everyone for the tips, will try to find my answer in a search next time. Only problem is not many people include keywords so it's hard sometimes to find the right thread [:)]

Yeah, don't feel like you can never make a new post, just search if it's really simple and there's a clear-cut answer out there. The higher you get in modding, the more likely you'll have to create a new post, but you've got a ways to go until you get in then. Good luck and get titanium!

Welcome! When it comes to looking for a B7, be patient and get the one you want. When I traded in my B6 for the B7 I looked for the following:
1. CPO
2. Nav and Bluetooth
3. S-Line (didnt get :( and I have spent some $$$ to get my car close to an s-line)
4. Power Rear Sunshade (have a new baby)
5. Titanium (didn't get it either)
6. Seat memory (wife drives the car sometimes)
7. Reverse Tilt (GREAT for parallel parking)
8. Parking sensors
I wish I would have been a little more patient, but I love this car.
Good luck in your search

I was in the same position as you last year when I bought my A4 at the age of 16. Awesome car and awesome community. My only regret is not learning how to drive a manual before purchasing a car and I'm now stuck with a CVT transmission. Do your research before buying your car. Also, from personal experience, do not buy your car at Braman Audi in West Palm Beach. The car had a few problems when I bought it even though it was CPO and I requested them to fix everything before sending the car and they didn't. My car then had to spend over a week at another Audi dealership getting fixed which was hell. Oh, and S-LINE!!! (Preferably Titanium ;))

Welcome!
As others have stated CPO is big in my book! Next is S-Line, the cars just look better, a little meaner. Third is NAVy/Bluetooth, its so nice not having to wear a stupid ear piece.
After that its up to you.
Good Luck!
