Hey guys so recently I purchased a OEM DTM S4 spoiler. The part number is 8E5827933D. I checked it myself and even asked the seller if it was for Non S-line trunks. He told me it was, and I even checked on genuineaudiparts.com it comes up "Trunk lid - Spoiler - Spoiler // Spoiler 2005 - 2007." I received it today and just now test fitted it. It's definitely for S-Line trunks.
Does any one know the part number for DTM spoiler for Non S-line trunks?
Thanks y'all.
P.S. I guess I have an OEM DTM spoiler for sale now [:D]

there is no DTM spoiler for non S-Line trunk. All euro and us DTM cars had the s-line trunk!

yeah they do, but I've got the part number you have so now IDK...I would take this through with your parts dept if you have one. I'll give my dealer a call tomorrow and let you know. I'm guessing you got the one in the classifieds for $450 shipped?

Now that I think of it, I've never seen one that was OEM but I'm almost positive they exist. The only guys who are non-sline with one are modified dtm spoiler s-line reps that they sanded and such. (IIRC)

damnit all.
the first time I even touched one was an ebay DTM rep for S-line trunks. I noticed the gap right away. This one was the same. Right when it came out of the box I already knew [:(]

man that is sucky, all that confusion. Is there any way you can post some pics of the way it fits on the non-sline trunk? I'm curious as to what exactly would need to happen to make it fit with a little work. It's just that whole question of whether or not you want to risk messing up a $400 spoiler.. that would be a tad upsetting if it didn't come out quite right.

that's the thing. If this was the ebay rep I'd get on sanding this sh*t down right away. I don't want to even try to modify the real thing. check this thread (here) (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?283530-Carbon-Fiber-DTM-S4-25th-Ann.-Replica-Rear-Lip-Spoiler-Minor-Major-Gap-Explained) out. It's prospero's about the rep and how he modified it to fit.

If I can't get an OEM one, or one from DTH, then I'm going to have to do that...it sucks

sorry for the delay fellas, I finally talked to my parts guy and the MSRP from the dealer is now $995. There are only 5 or so left in all of NA and even the dealer cost on it is still $670. Not worth it since it could be easily ripped off my car one day. I'm going rep...

I am really considering having mine glued on (where if it were to ever come off it will rip off the paint).... what is your guys thoughts?

I was going to glue/drill but then I can never take it off without ruining the trunk and/or lip

I just landed a S-Line trunk and having it repainted with the car. Still debating if i want to have it drilled/glued or not..

Dang you really want to have the oem look!
(I remember the days when I was the first or one of the first to "go DTM", now it's commonplace, lol)
