Hi all,

I need to replace a few suspension parts and being new to audis.. i've got no idea where to look. ECS had a good price for a kit but with shipping it's too much (I'm in australia). Is there a good AU place or somewhere someone could point me too to find parts for a good price?
Mechanic tells me I need the following;

left top front ball joint - should I replace both L and R at the same time??
front top control arm bushes
rocker cover rubber gasket
water pump
and a few hoses (coolant bypass hose behind water pump, and coolant hose at oil filter).

In terms of the suspension, would I be better buying a kit?

I found the following links, can anyone comment on the quality or what they think....
I'm guessing the last one would be a good option... the bush kit (maybe then I just need to find the ball joint)?

FCP offers deals to Audizine members. Post in the thread, and he should reply rather quick, with shipping quote and so forth.

yeh I saw that add.. looks good! It's the same gear I saw on ebay but better price.

What do you guys think about using that bushing kit instead of the whole control arm kit? Do you think installing them would be much more time consuming/stuffing around (or costly if I had it professionally done) than buying the whole kit??

You would need to have the bushings pushed out, and new ones pressed in. Some shops can be shady, and charge you like $20-30 per bushing. so you need to weigh your options. Personally, I would just do the complete CA swap (including tie rod ends, and sway bar end links) and call it a day. FCP also has a lifetime warranty on these (if installed by a certified tech or you can pay 10% of the cost of the kit and install it yourself).
