Editing thread title has no effect

I have been trying to edit the title of a thread to show it has been updated, but when I go to advanced edit, and make the change to the title, the title change doesn't show up under the main page of the B6 forum... I know it's possible to do because I have done this a few times already. Why isn't it working now?

Was this issue ever resolved forum wide? Or just in this case? My thread titles only update in the first post of the thread, not the thread title everyone else will see on the forum (if that makes sense) I go to advanced options and simply change the title from there. Am I wrong, Is there another way to do this? Thanks
