Clear windsheild film- to protect from rocks

As the title says, I'm looking for a clear film guess similar to clear bra that can go on the windshield to protect from rock chips and other debris that kick up as I do alot of highway driving... does something like this exist? I'm guessing I could have someone put clear bra on the windshield but i would think it would get messed up with the wipers when it rains and also wouldn't think it would expel water as good as glass.

I have a feeling that such a product wouldn't work well. I have not heard of one though I may be wrong.

I wouldnt trust it - but thats just me. For $50, my insurance will fix any large chips or cracks over 1"

Wal-mart sells these little kits with injectors and uvhardening filler that work pretty well (depending on your level of patientce) that will make anything in the outer glass layer pretty much go away. Wouldn't trust the snake oil windshield treatments to do anything

It does not work well because if your wind shield is dirty then you need to wash your car instead of using your wiper. And you need to clean your wiper constantly otherwise it scratches on the 3M.
