I'm selling my 05 B7 A4 2.0T 6-spd so took off the Britlman exhaust to resell. When I bought it I remember there being separate versions for 6-spd vs. tiptronic... anyone know why? I assume they wouldn't make different ones if not necessary, but how different are they? I've been getting asked by potential buyers who have tipt's.
TIA for any info.

On a B6, they are interchangable but the M/T version has one less mounting hanger. Not sure about b7 but i would guess its the same

I don't know about the Britlman, but I can tell you for a fact that the AWE and Stasis (both of which I have owned) are not interchangable. The Manual Transmission versions are actually cat backs and the tiptronics are downpipe backs. Thus the manual transmissions have a larger diameter downpipe to midpipe connection and it isnt necessarily where the stock system would mount. A tiptronic system is designed to fit directly to the stock downpipe (stock size and stock location). You could with some modification run one to the other, but it is probably not worth the work.
