After what seemed to be a short winter, today, I was finally able to wash the car outdoors - it was a balmy 8 degrees Celsius (~48 Fahrenheit). I popped open the hood and noticed an accumulation of salt on and near the strut towers. Following are some before and after pics of the driver's side (the same situation was also on the passenger side).

I know the vehicle has good anti-corrosion treatments at the factory, but should this be a cause of concern 4-5 years down the line?
Rust is ugly.[eek]
