Took delivery Wednesday. Last night I tried to program my garage door opener and could not locate Homelink buttons. Did the factory forget? Or am I looking in the wrong area [confused]http://picasaweb.google.com/109977499649996703694/SFore#

Where are you looking? They are in the roof center console near the edge farthest from the windshield.

It's not on the sunvisor like they use to be. It's on the roof center console, near the map lights/dome light.

That's pretty weird. Your homelink should be right past the dome light. Is it part of the mirror on the Prestige package?

VERY weird, in the US all trim packages on the S4 (Prestige and P+) have Homelink standard. The buttons should be between the 2 sets of 5 vertical slots on this picture. Do you have an A4 or S4?

If they are missing go back to the dealer RIGHT away. That's what's known as a misbuild. Audi will fix it and get the car right again.

I called my sales person since the dealership is 45 min away. As of today still waiting for a response from Audi. How long will this process take?

that's nuts - homelink is standard on US cars, but it's an option in other places. looks like there was an error on the build order or something. I wonder if the controls are installed in the car and they just put the wrong cover piece on for the light? For example, I know the transmitter is somewhere behind the front grill - I wonder if you got that part installed or not.

spooky and a bummer.

definitely fitted improperly but should be easy enough to correct.

Audi has been a little odd to me lately. I just took my car in for service since I noticed a loud vibration when I had the fan up high. Turns out... the factory left a piece of tape on the fan motor!! Go figure. They removed it and everything else is fine.

Car is back at the dealer after having it less than a week. SA tells me that they are still waiting for an answer from AoA. From there they have to locate and order the part(s). This can take 7-10 business days.
